Junk Refunk Street Market

Canby Rodeo

This premier rodeo is hosted by the Columbia River Circuit and features bareback bronc riding, bull riding, cowgirls barrel racing, cowgirls breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding and steer wrestling.

Rotary Club 3 on 3 Tournament

July 28th

Wait Park, Canby, OR

Our 3 on 3 basketball tournament takes place in the streets around Canby’s beautiful Wait Park in the Heart of Downtown Canby. Hundreds of families from Canby and surrounding communities attend each year to picnic, play and watch participants ranging in age from 8 to 30 plus years old vie for prizes and bragging rights.

Basil and Art Festival

August 25th-27th

The dates for the 2018 festival are the 25, 26, 27 and the 1, 2, & 3 of September. The hours for the festival are from 10 am to 6 pm. The train will also be running the dates listed. There will be local artists along with a menu of basil dishes avaliable.

Clackamas County Fair

August 14-18, at Clackamas County Fairgrounds

The Clackamas County Event Center, home of the Clackamas County Fair, has been a proud tradition since 1907, and is the County’s major agricultural and industrial exposition.  The Fair Board and Staff’s dedication and purpose is to provide a showplace for educational activities, healthful competition, recognition of our county youth, displays of better methods and products of agriculture, business, commerce, history and tourism.

Cutsforth’ s Annual Cruise In By The Park

August 25th at Wait Park between 9am – 2pm

 Join us for Cutsforth’ s 24th Annual Cruise-In. It’s a wonderful family event filled with cool cars, good music and yummy food. While soaking in the beauty of the vintage cars, come and enjoy a BBQ hosted by Canby Rotary Club alongside Canby Cheerleaders scooping up some delicious root beer floats. All profits from this event support your local community clubs and organizations. The cost per vehicle is $20.

Dahlia Festival

August 25 – 27, September 1-3 from 10am – 6pm, Swan Island Dahlias

995 NW 22nd Ave Canby, OR

A must see for the dahlia lover, or if you just love flowers. View over 400 floral arrangements of dahlias, over 15,000 cut dahlia blooms on display, in our three indoor display rooms. This is the largest display put on by one grower anywhere in the United States!

Canby Dahlia Run

August 25th, 7am , Starts and Finishes at Canby Foursquare Church

2350 SE Territorial Rd, Canby, OR

A half marathon and 10K run/walk in a beautiful setting. The course begins and ends at Canby Foursquare Church with a course through the Swan Island Dahlia Fields, wheat fields, farm houses, and beautiful scenery around Canby. Proceeds go to local charities for the betterment of the community.

Canby’s Big Night Out

August 24th

Corner of 2nd and Grant, Canby, OR

Join us for children’s activities, food and beverages, live music, and dancing! Additionally there is Face Painting, a Tic-Tac Toe Tournament, a Scavenger Hunt and Candy! Or stay and play with corn hole, ladder ball, chalk, and hula hoops! We will also have bouncy houses, a climbing wall and the return of the Arcade Truck!

Independence Day Celebration

July 4th at Wait Park

3rd Ave between Holly and Grant in downtown Canby

A street fair featuring food and beverage merchants, arts and craft retailers, live music, car show, children’s activities, a parade, and beer garden make this an event not to miss! Canby organizations help to round out this event including Canby Historical Society’s Pancake Breakfast, Friends of the Library’s Book Sale, Boy Scout Troop 505’s Kiddie Korner, and the Fire District’s Obstacle Course. This time-honored, family friendly event brings people of all ages – from Canby citizens and visitors – to experience a true, small-town Independence Day. This long established event traditionally brings thousands of people from Canby and beyond.

Wild Hare Country Fest

July 21st-22nd

1st Avenue, Downtown Canby

J-Fell Presents and The Wild Hare Saloon presents Wild Hare Countryfest, July 20 – 21, 2018 at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex in Canby, Oregon. This first-year original music festival, created by the producers of the Harefest Tribute Band (in its eighth year), brings to the NW festival scene national and local acts representing popular Red Dirt and Outlaw country genres. The 2018 festival, featuring two stages and 13 acts, will be headlined by Whiskey Myers (7/20) and Randy Rogers Band (7/21), among the biggest names in Red Dirt Country. Additionally, rising stars William Clark Green and Shane Smith & The Saints are featured as main-stage performers. South Carolina’s Greg Payne & The Piedmont Boys, a favorite of local Country fans, will perform both nights of the festival.
