El Grito Fiesta

Celebrate the independence of Mexico and other Latin American countries from Spain at El Grito Fiestas Patrias. Learn and experience the culture of our neighbors to the south of the U.S. with food, fun, and festivities for everyone. Features a carnival, food court, beer garden, bingo, piñata games, car and bike showcase, soccer, Jaripeo Bull riding, kids activities and more.
St. Josef’s Grape Stomping Festival
September 22nd-23rd, 12pm – 6pm
28836 S Barlow Rd, Canby, OR
The 36th annual festival Join in on stomping in an 1200 gallon Oak barrel that holds the equivalent 5,000 bottles of wine, lively music and food in a casual, relaxed European atmosphere. In addition to Grapestomping contests held throughout the day, the ‘Original Donaumusikanten’ a great German Band from Ulm, Bavaria will be performing from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Don’t worry about diligent training for the stomping – St Josef’s will pick a partner for you if you are fortunate enough to get selected. Over 400 lbs. of special St Josef’s recipe sausages & homemade sauerkraut, along with other locally made foods will be available.

Meet your favorite storybook characters, paint pumpkins, and play games at this family friendly maze. If you’re in the mood for a scare, visit the haunted house. Donations of cash and canned food support the Canby Kiwanis and Canby Center.
Join us downtown for trick or treating with local businesses! There is also a children’s Halloween costume parade, library Halloween arts and crafts, and the Halloween Journey!
